Politics : Peace : Memorials : Yitzhak Rabin

This page is part of the The (almost) Complete Guide to WWW in Israel.

The peace section is dedicated to the memory of our late prime minister, Yitzhak Rabin, the man of peace, that was assassinated on November 4th, 1995, while leaving a public rally for peace in the Middle East, and end to all violence.

Over a million and a half Israeli citizens, thousands of distinguished guests, and dozens of world leaders which came to Jerusalem to pay last respects to Rabin proved that a man can be killed, but his ideas will live on forever.

Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalms 34:14
